Kim
Grant, a frequent-flying-globetrotter and a back-road-ambler,
has been photographing
guidebooks (her own and others) and travel articles
on assignment since the mid-1980s. Her singular ability
to pair words and images has proven to be a valuable
resource to savvy editors.
She travels frequently to update
deep files for numerous locales (see the navigation
on the left). She also shoots regularly in Florida,
Portugal, the Greek Islands, and the Netherlands. In
addition to the images shown here, hundreds of Kim's

Planet Images, including many from Turkey, Germany,
Budapest, and Prague.
